Partymaker is the data controller for the personal data described below. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights listed in this policy, contact us at [email protected]. Full operator details are in our Legal Notice.
Organizer accounts (User): username, email, password (stored as a bcrypt hash, never in plain text), country, city.
Attendees (Contact): first/last name, email, phone number, and any tags/notes an organizer adds about you — scoped to the specific event organization, not shared across organizations unless you register an account with the same email.
Event & financial records: parties/events you create or attend, tickets purchased, expenses and settlements recorded by organizers.
Partymaker itself does not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties. We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity for analytics, gated behind your cookie consent choice — see the Cookie Policy for details. Microsoft is an independent controller of any data Clarity collects (not our data processor), and may use it for its own purposes, including advertising, under its own privacy terms: Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Stripe processes payments (ticket purchases, subscription billing) and receives your email and name for that purpose. Resend delivers transactional email on our behalf and receives your email address for that purpose. MongoDB Atlas hosts our database and stores all of the data described above on our behalf. We do not use any other data processor, and we do not sell your data or share it for advertising purposes.
Separately, Google (Analytics 4) and Microsoft (Clarity) act as independent controllers, not our processors, for the analytics data they collect directly from your browser once you opt in — see the Cookie Policy and the section above for details.
Separately from the organization-scoped analytics above, our own operators can view aggregated performance data across organizations at the venue level — attendance and ticket-sales totals for a venue, together with the names of the organizations that have held events there. This never includes attendee names, emails, phone numbers, or any individual's purchase history — only party/check-in counts and revenue totals attributed to an organization and a venue. We use it to generate recommendations for organizers about the venues they use, and to inform our own business decisions and strategic planning regarding venues used on Partymaker. It is visible only to Partymaker's own operators, never to other organizations.
Our database and application infrastructure are hosted in the EU. Where a processor (Stripe, Resend) is headquartered outside the EU/EEA, we rely on their Standard Contractual Clauses or another legally recognized safeguard for any incidental transfer — your data is not routinely stored or processed outside the EU/EEA.
Financial records (expenses, settlements) are retained even after account deletion, with your identifying details replaced by an anonymized marker, to preserve the organization's books. Everything else tied to your account is permanently deleted when you delete your account (see below) or when an organizer erases your attendee record.
If we materially change this policy, existing accounts are asked to review and re-accept it before continuing to use Partymaker.
